When You’re Ready, Let Go

Over at bandbase.dk they have a project called MixToVerdener. The goal is to see what happens when contemporary musicians get to play with classical music. I was asked to be a part of the project and I ended up with a song called “When You’re Ready, Let Go”. It’s a gloomy song with a heavy bassline.

Bjørn Svin made a track for the project as well and the whole deal is available or download at mixtoverdener.dk. Enjoy.

  5. Cool track. I’ve always been of electronics/classical pieces.

    Classical is, in my opinion, the most acomplished music genre. Although, it has a limited range of sounds, which is confining.

    Combining it with the endless opportunities of electronic music, it can really blow your mind.

    Artists like Brian Eno, Murcof, Ben Frost and a few Radiohead and Thom Yorke
    songs, are brilliant examples of this, either by using classical music patterns in their electronic songs, or actually combining them.

    I would love to see some more of this from you Troels.

  6. I am very impressed with this project, as well as the entire Danish music scene. American music is so stale, for the most part…its nice to see folks still pushing the boundaries of sound;-}
