Unfortunately I can’t come, but if you’re in the neighborhood you should drop by Netto Rave and most possibly have the night of your life. The lineup alone is a sure recipe for success, but on top of that the entrance fee is only 20 DKKR and beers are the same. Have a blast…
A treat from the makers:
Shir Khan – Smells Like Basement (dj set)
Larry Tee – Clap That Ass (Tomboy remix)
Turboweekend – Washout (James Braun remix)
Djuna Barnes – Urbanizer vol. 1 (dj set)

Have developed quite a liking for this band recently. Especially their track “Sunrise” has made many a morning complete for me.
And yeah, I know they posted this ages ago on soundvenue.com but for the love of god who can keep up with those guys. If I had en entire staff of journalists digging up my gold for me I would be rich too ;-)
What they didn’t do on soundvenue though was link to downloadable versions of Yeasayers lovely music. There’s always a free download out there somewhere…
Yeasayer – Sunrise
Yeasayer – 2008
Now on to find the album somewhere…

Found this site a long time ago but it just hit me that I never posted it in here. The site specializes in releasing free (that’s free for ya!) records under the Creative Commons licenses. All electronic and mostly loud and wild. I found one of my all time favourite tracks “X” by Monster X on the Bedroom Research V3 compilation which is also a free download from the site. Now, go dig your own gold in there…

Even though it sounds like it, this is not an endorsement deal I made with beatport.com. I’m just showing some love to a site that I use every day (and my empty pockets are the proof). I thought that more people ought to know about this site and use it. If you’re into electronic music in any form this is the place to go for your digital downloads. The downloads are 360 kbps mp3’s unless you choose lower res, but why would you do that?. You can also download full resolution .wav files of the trakcs you purchase and of course everything is DRM free. Unlike iTunes you are really buying something without restrictions as to how many computers you can put em on and how good the quality is. And that’s worth paying for in my book. Oh yeah one more thing: The previews are about 2 minutes long, so you can really get a feel of what you’re buying. Great…
So every month I will list five of my favorite tracks. If you are a regular Beatport user let me know what floats your boat when you download.
And now the list:
HÃ¥kan Lidbo – Half Man Half Lobster
Extrawelt – Fernweh
Worthy – Irst_te (Claude’s R U Thirsty Mix)
Claude VonStroke – Who’s Afraid of Detroit (Tanner Ross Remix)
Popof – Vabern
GO!!!
