I will try to eat healthier and exercise more

I will try to smoke less

I will try not to get insanely drunk when I drink, as it is way funnier to just have a buzz through the entire night and watch everybody else turn to zombies

I will try to meet more deadlines rather than push them in front of me

I will seriously consider getting a drivers license

I will try not to mope and sulk over little things ’cause more than often my problems are very petite

I will try to spend more time with my family whom I have neglected a bit lately

I will try to be more true to myself

I will travel more

I will see a dentist

I will try to spend 30 minutes every day not doing anything – including TV and sleeping

I will not go to the USA unless I really really have to, as you now have to give up all of your fingerprints if you want entry, and that’s not exactly making me feel welcome

I will try not to get visually distracted when talking to people ’cause it seems rude

I will try one beer and see if I still don’t like it

I will try not to reveal stuff I have promised myself to keep a secret

I will only do the things I really feel are right

I am closing down my Facebook account today. Besides from feeling that my private life is violated, I don’t really think my life gets any better by having yet another website, account or profile to take care of. Besides that, the daily deleting of chain letters and denying of hotness requests, is also taking way too much of my time and lord knows I can live without knowing everything about everyone all the time. Have enough trouble keeping track of my own whereabouts.

I wanted to use facebook for my real life network but it got out of hand for me. I can’t figure out who are mere acquaintances and who are real friends anymore.

It’s a shame ’cause I really like the architecture of Facebook. The fact that everyone can write an application that users can add to their profile is great, and adds just as much functionality to the network as myspace has, though myspace is a lot more tweakable design-wise.

Maybe I just have to face that, I can’t have my cake and eat it too. If you want your privacy, don’t use Facebook…
