New We Are Wolves Album

If you like loud and screamy synths, smashed up drums and canadians this is for you. We are Wolves has released their second full length album called “Total Magique” on Dare To Care Records and though they are very loyal to the sound from their first album “Non-Stop Je Te Plie En Deux” they have kind of stepped it up a notch production-wise. This is not at all a bad thing, quite the contrary this albums is kind of cleaned up, but yet it’s very true to the live sound which is best described as “hit everything you can, as hard as you can while screaming as loud as you can”.

I Am Bones Remix

I am a big fan of the new I Am Bones album The Greater Good. It has everything a good rock record should have. Blazing riffs, good melodies and corky lyrics. The whole lot starts out with the cleverly named “Home Is The One Corner Of Hell That Didn’t Catch Fire” which is a nifty little Nirvana-on-prozac kind of thing, and from there it moves on to pursue both melancholic (but still comic) songs like “Walk, Don’t Run” and even pop on “Let’s Leave The City”. I love it, and I’m sure you will too if you give it a listen and a couple of runs ;-)

I was so lucky as to get my hands on parts to one of the songs, and this was what came out of it.

That Don’t Work That Well For Us

Suiscropped
This must be my all time favorite feel good track, and I have been sweeping the internet so many times to find a copy that was up for download for you guys. Seemed like the band had removed it from the surface of the earth. But then I found it…

So without further ado, I give you “That Don’t Work That Well For Us” by Je Suis France.

Keep it around for that rainy day, when you need to feel good…
