Just realized that I’ve never written anything about Paul Epworth. What a shame! Here goes…
If you’ve heard Bloc Party, Maxîmo Park or The Futureheads you might know this guy. Paul Epworth produced among many other things Bloc Party’s acclaimed album Silent Alarm (recorded in Delta Lab, Denmark) and has since moved to pursue other aspect of the industry, now a part of the music/fashion collective Kitsune Maison. I dug up the tracks I could find on various websites to give you an idea of this guys work. Especially his remix of Retreat by The Rakes is worth one or two listens, as well as his own track Worryin. I’ve decided to start up my very own podcast. I’ve worked out all the legal stuff and now I’m ready to broadcast like a maniac.
The podcast will feature, amongst other things:
- Unreleased material that didn’t make the cut for the album I am releasing soon
- Remixes of my own material. So if you’re looking for a dancy version of a certain track, the podcast is for you.
- Any video material that is relevant. Musicvideos, diaries and so much more…
The podcast is going to function as an outlet for everything that doesn’t fit in elsewhere.
The first thing I’ve chosen to podcast is a track called “1-2-3″ which I haven’t put on the record. It’s actually an old track but I kind of jazzed it up ;-) Hope you like it…

Thought I’d give you some insight in how it looks right now, as I am writing this. My apartment is undergoing some serious renovation and the workspace is very limited, so I occupy my moms apartment while she is at work. In a week or so my place will be done and I can have my desk back. For now it’s the dinner table at my moms…
