I’ve owned this record for some time now but with my fairly busy schedule, I haven’t had the time to sit down and listen to the stack of albums on my desk. Some of them are not even unwrapped yet, and remain locked up in the small plastic containers they we’re shipped in. What a shame! But Now I’ve finally come around to it, and the last couple of days I’ve been listening to the same album over and over again. It’s one of those records that are excellent all the way through, and of which I will probably never grow tired.

I first heard of Band Of Horses through CatBirdSeat which posted the track “Funeral” back in april, as far as I recall. I was instantly captured by the lyrics of Ben Bridwell and the emotional way he delivers them, without being over dramatic or getting too melancholic. Much like the feeling I get when hearing “Do You Realize?” by The Flaming Lips, cause it’s a sad punchline, but somehow I can’t help but smile and even be swept away with happiness, when I hear it. I get the same thing from Band Of Horses debut album, and especially “Funeral”.
Well anyway, I got hold of their album “Everything All The Time” through amazon.com, and now I just can’t let it go, so I urge you to order it straight away. If you’re not yet convinced, here’s a treat:
