Sorry for not psoting anything in a long time. I have been busy here in the states, playing and all. But I found some great albums that I will write about soon.

Well, the reason for this post is that if you’re in Copenhagen saturday, you should go to LAB on Vesterbrogade 107 and see Casiotone for the Painfully Alone play. I can’t believe that he is finally coming to town. I am coming home from the US that day and I hope I am not to tired from the flight, ’cause I really want to see this show.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a band in Denmark that really had attitude? Not like all the we-play-rock’n'roll-like-they-did-in-the-old-times-bands, but someone who did their own thing and did very well in doing so. Then imagine that band, inking a deal with the most daring independent label in Denmark? A label that cares not for petty genre gaps, but is bold in their signings and relentless in their quest for quality acts.

Finally Ryan over at catbirdseat.org did it. For a long time I have been very pleased with his monthly podcast mixes, but at the same time very annoyed over the fact that he doesn’t speak his shows so one knows what one was listening to.
