So, I heard this band on the WHYME podcast in their latest show and, indie as it might be, it had me jumping around the room. Here’s the tracks I could find on their website:
Oh Mandy
Brown Boxes
Crack The Whip
In fact they remind me a lot of Figurines here from Denmark. It must be that shakey vocal, and the quirky energetic feeling. Have fun with The Spinto Band…

Go to http://www.antimatiere.com/compilhrzfld/ and download this wonderful compilation of tracks from the small independent label Herzfeld. “They Give Me The Eye” from Lauter is one great track.

Been all about launching the new VETO website lately, so I excuse – once again – for my absence on these parts. But check out how cool it all has become.
Here’s the new veto hand:

I’m loving it… ;-)

I don’t know if anybody is reading the entries I make, but if you do I am truly sorry for not posting anything for a while. I feel pretty hung up with my work and such, but luckily that will be over by march, since I have decided to “quit my dayjob” for the music. I think this is the wise decision to make now. I feel very tired all the time, since I am really working two jobs right now: My dayjob at a daycare centre, and the music on the side. But soon I will have much more time to focus solely on the music. I have had doubts, since my financial situation will change drastically with this decision, but came to the conclusion that you have to make some choices in your life.
But as for this site I plan on spending more time here in the future, and maybe make it just a little more interactive than it is now ;-)
Until next time…

I found this blog while scouring the internet. I urge you to go check out this guys podcast, since you can really broaden your musical horizon here. He has everything from the slowest folksongs to the fastest electronic tunes in the world. The only red thread in this, is that it is not major label signings or mainstream acts. It’s exclusively independent label acts or unsigned bands. And unlike bandsundertheradar.com this guy really puts an effort into being wide in his musical presentations. So go hear him at nyub.net and give yourself a chance to discover some new music.
Have fun…

Allright, you might have heard of these guys or this guy or what the hell they are, but if you haven’t go buy “Digital Ash in a Digital Urn”!
This record was absolutely what I needed after a hardworking fall and a stressed and too short christmas holiday. Bright Eyes do what the hell they want when the hell they want to. There are obviously no rules in this music and everything can, and does, happen.
If you like Flaming lips and such, you’ll definitely love this album…
This is the website I could find on them after a quick googling. Have fun with Bright Eyes.
I’m having a blast…
